These gifts are simple to establish, flexible throughout your lifetime, and often one of the most tax efficient ways to give.

- Upon your passing, the asset will transfer to UNC Charlotte according to your instructions.
Important Considerations
Beneficiary designation gifts are among the most flexible ways to give. You may continue to take withdrawals, use your account freely, or update your beneficiaries at any time. This allows you to care for loved ones while also supporting the University in a way that aligns with your values.
Flexibility
Most forms allow you to name UNC Charlotte as a full or partial beneficiary, or as a primary or contingent beneficiary.
Family Planning
You can support both family and the University. For example, you may name your spouse as the primary beneficiary and your children and UNC Charlotte as partial contingent beneficiaries.
